Our On-Demand Valet program provides a solution for individual trips for those who need help from time-to-time facilitating the key hand off, documenting your car's condition, and providing a safe, convenient place for guest's to pick up and return your car.
What We Provide
We will provide 24 hours of parking prior to each trip and 24 hours after each trip. The 24 hour at the beginning of the trip will be based on the trip's scheduled start time. The 24 hours at the end of the trip will be based upon the time the guest returns the car, not the scheduled return time. Parking beyond the included 24 hours is available for an additional $10/day.
We will document and photograph the condition of your vehicle, including the dashboard, miles, fuel level, interior, and exterior. You'll receive these details from us by email for your own records. The photos will also be uploaded to Trip Photos within the marketplace app.
When your guest arrives for the vehicle, we will verify their identity in accordance with the marketplace's requirements.
The key hand off will be done in-person by our team 24/7. No lockboxes or hidden keys. Note our limitations below for how it works between 10pm and 6am every day.
If your vehicle comes back without a full tank, we will fill it and bill you for the fuel plus a $5 inconvenience fee. You can then submit this to your guest for reimbursement. We only have Premium fuel at this time.
Vehicle cleaning is not included in the trip rate, but can be requested for an additional fee. Our team will also take note of any cleaning you might want to have done and make recommendations. To request cleaning, simply use our Request Cleaning form. When booking cleaning, you must allow 4 hours or more for our team to complete it.
A subscription to StreetSmarts is included in your monthly membership for each car! This will give you the additional automation that StreetSmarts provides. For more details, see StreetSmarts.io.
How It Works & Getting Started
Step 1: Your Profile
If you're brand new and have never used Hassle-Free Car before, you first need to setup a profile. This is where you'll provide us with information about you, connect your marketplace accounts, and provide payment information. This is done by clicking Step 1: Enroll at the top of our website.
Step 2: Your Cars
Next you'll add each of your vehicles that you would like enrolled in the On-Demand program. This is done by clicking Step 2: Add a Car at the top of our website.
48 Hour Hold: Please note that you MUST allow 48 hours from the time you enroll your car to the time we can facilitate the vehicle's first trip.
Toll Tag Required: Additionally, you must also have an ExpressToll tag installed on your car in order to use this service. Make note of your sticker number before beginning the enrollment process. If you don't have one, we can provide one to you. You can then add it to your own toll account or not.
Step 3: Add a Trip
After you've received confirmation that your vehicle has been setup with us, you can begin to notify us about trips you'd like us to facilitate for you.
Whole Trip: To do this, send a text message to (720) 505-2172 with the reservation number of the trip you'd like us to facilitate. You can also submit the reservation online at Submit On-Demand Reservation.
Partial Trip: If you only need us to to handle the beginning or end of a trip, you must submit the request online using our Submit On-Demand Reservation form. Our text feature is not available at this time for partial trips.
Cancel a Trip: If you change your mind and don't need us to facilitate a specific trip any longer, send a text message to (720) 505-2172 with the reservation number or send in the cancellation request using our Submit On-Demand Reservation form. This WILL NOT cancel the reservation in the marketplace, it will only cancel it in our system.
Any time you submit or cancel a trip with us, you'll receive a confirmation at the phone number and email on your profile once we've processed it. Each request can take a minute or two to process. If you don't receive it within 10 minutes or so, reach out to our support team.
Step 4: Pick Up & Drop Off
First Drop Off: The first time you drop off your car, come to our office and provide us with one of your keys. We will keep that key as long as your vehicle is enrolled and you will keep the other. This will allow you to pick up and drop off your vehicle 24/7 unattended.
Start of Trip: Your vehicle must be dropped off in our drop off area no later than 1 hour prior to the start of your guest's trip. It must be clean, have a full tank, and be free of any maintenance issues.
After Trip: When the vehicle is returned, please allow us time to check the vehicle in before coming to pick it up. You'll pick it up from our staging area. It can take several hours before we get to it for check in. If it hasn't been checked in yet and you need to pick it up in short order, feel free to reach out to our team by chat and let us know.
When you come to pick up your vehicle, please be ready to provide your driver's license.
Requirements & Limitations
Toll Transponders Required
Every vehicle enrolled must have an ExpressToll transponder on the vehicle. If you don't have one, we can provide one to you. You can then add it to your own toll account or not. You DO NOT need them attached to an ExpressToll account for toll billing, they must simply be installed on your vehicle for our system to read and provide access.
While we do provide pick up 24/7, any pick ups between the hours of 10pm and 6am must be booked with us before 10pm that night. We cannot facilitate last-minute trips between 10pm and 6am.
2 Keys Required
Every On-Demand vehicle must have 2 keys. We will keep one as long as your car is enrolled and you will keep the other. We'll use our key whenever we're handling a trip for you and you'll use your key to pick up and drop off your car unattended at our facility 24/7.
Cleaning & Maintenance
We do not allow owners to do any cleaning or maintenance on their vehicles at our facility. You must remove the car from our garage and perform those tasks off-site. Anyone found in violation of this may be terminated immediately with no refund and vehicles towed or booted at the owner's expense.
Adjusting Vehicle Settings
We will not adjust any of your vehicle settings or take additional photos of specific things on your car. If something needs to be done for your car, you'll want to come pick up the car and take care of those things personally.
We do have charging stations for electric vehicles, however we cannot guarantee a charging station will be available. The charging speed will also vary depending on how many cars are charging at the same time. Vehicles that are managed full-time do have charging station priority.
We WILL accept diesels into this program, however we WILL NOT fuel diesels that come back without a full tank. It will be your responsibility to fuel the vehicle when they're returned from their trip.
Damage Inspections and Claims
While we will document your vehicle at the beginning and end of every trip, we will not inspect your vehicle for specific damage, nor will we submit damage claims on your behalf. By enrolling your vehicle in this program, you agree to take full responsibility for noticing, documenting, and submitting any new damage done to your vehicle. We will not take additional photos of your vehicle upon request - we will only take the standard interior and exterior photos needed to document your vehicle as a whole.
No Marketplace Transactions Outside Hassle-Free Car
We do not allow any marketplace transactions to be facilitated at our facility that are not managed by Hassle-Free Car. This includes our visitor parking and anywhere else at our facility for both vehicles that are enrolled with us and those that are not. Any owner found facilitating transactions at our facility with be subject to fines up to $500, immediate termination with no refund, and vehicle's towed or booted at owner's expense.
Personal Vehicle Parking
We cannot provide parking for vehicles that are not enrolled with us. If you need to park your own personal vehicle to come check on a vehicle enrolled with us, you can use visitor parking so long as you are at the facility. Visitor parking is only intended for those who are actively visiting. If you're leaving the car there and exiting the facility, you must pay for parking with FINE Airport Parking. Coupons are available at FineAirportParking.com.
|Monthly Membership/Car||Each car is enrolled for On-Demand use, which requires a monthly fee. This allows us to connect to your car for access to our parking facility and provides you with StreetSmarts access.||$49/month|
|Whole Trip||When we facilitate a single trip, both pick up and return, this fee would apply. This includes parking for 24 hours prior to the trip and 24 hours after the trip.||$30/trip|
|Partial Trip||If we facilitate only pick up OR return for a trip, this fee would apply. This includes parking for 24 hours before the trip or 24 hours after the trip.||$20/trip|
|Electric Vehicles||If charging stations are open, we will plug your car in if needed. We're providing this at no additional cost at this time.||Included|
|Parking||If a vehicle arrives more than 24 hours before it's trip start time or if it stays more than 24 hours after it's returned, additional parking fees will apply. This applies to every consecutive 24 hour period or any fraction thereof.||$10/24 hours or fraction thereof|
|Any vehicle that comes back without a full tank of fuel will be fueled. You will receive an invoice from us immediately that can be submitted to the marketplace for reimbursement.||Fuel cost + $5 fee|
|Wash and Vac||When requested, we can do a basic interior and exterior wash of your vehicle.||$29|
|Wash, Vac, & Ozone||If a vehicle needs an odor treatment, we can do that in combination with a wash and vac. Keep in mind that we need about 24 hours to complete this as the ozone treatment takes time to be effective.||$79|
|Other Cleaning & Detailing||Additional cleaning services can be requested, though are not included. Prices vary depending on the cleaning required.|
