What is an owner trip?
An owner trip is a trip in which your vehicle is being used by you as the owner or an authorized individual. Owner trips are booked directly with our team, outside of any car sharing marketplace such as Turo, GetAround, etc.
Setup an Owner Trip
Setting up a trip for you to take your own vehicle off the lot, whether for pleasure or any other reason, can be done easily by contacting our helpdesk. All requests must be submitted to us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org from the email address associated with your account with us. Requests cannot be accepted and processed through chat or over the phone under any circumstance. Additionally, please provide as much notice as possible when booking a trip to avoid any delay in receiving your vehicle.
When emailing into our helpdesk, you must provide ALL the following information for your trip to be booked. If any information is missing, this may delay the setup of your trip and thus, the release of the vehicle.
- Full Name of Driver
- Phone Number of Driver
- Email Address of Driver (for instructions to pick up and return the car)
- Pick Up Date and Time
- Return Date and Time
- License Number Plate of the Vehicle
Much like a marketplace trip, the vehicle will not be released more than 1 hour before the trip start time. We recommend booking the trip to begin earlier than you believe it'll be needed as it'll simply be in valet awaiting your arrival. Furthermore, just like a marketplace trip, only the driver can pick up the vehicle. We will not release the car to anyone except the Primary Driver listed on the trip that you provide to us.
If you need to change your trip details, that's not a problem - simply reply to your trip confirmation email and someone from our team will make the necessary changes.
